Entering a Virtual Appointment

• To enter the Telehealth page and participate in a Virtual Appointment, click on the Menu

   

  button in the bottom-right corner and then click on the Telehealth option.

• If your version of Health Storylines does not include this option, then you are unable to take part in Telehealth calls.
  
  

• Inside this screen, you may see one of two things. If you do not have any appointments scheduled, there will be no upcoming virtual appointments visible here.

• If you have an appointment, it will be shown below - please note that you cannot enter an appointment unless it is within 15 minutes of current time. In this case, the appointment below is currently happening, so it can be accessed.

• Clicking on the appointment will open up the following screen. It will display the same details as the prior screen, with the option to click on 'Join Now' below.

  

• Clicking on Join Now will take you to the entry screen for your appointment. Please make sure you enter your Display Name (recommended as your preferred first name), and enable your microphone and camera.

  • It is also recommended to wear earphones or headphones to reduce the chance of echo coming from your microphone.

    

     

• Once you are inside the call, you can wait for the administrator or other participants to arrive, or start speaking if they are there already!

  • The current options are simply to enable/disable your microphone or video, as well as to switch which camera your phone is using when it is on.
